2018 Events – A Very Full Year
This was a critical year for Democrats. The mid-term elections generated tremendous energy among Democrat voters, candidates, the HDCC and across the country. The result was swinging the House of Representatives Blue. Join us at events this year to learn more about who is running and the issues we’ll be voting on during the run-up to our primary and general elections in 2020.
The HDCC hosted several events for candidates and election information, some of which are shown in the slideshow below:
- Swing Congress – a postacarding event
- Our Annual Breakfast at Marias Family Restaurant
- A presentation to give the pros and cons of the 2018 Ballot Questions
- Meet and Greet “speed-dating” pasta dinner to meet the 2018 Candidates
- An evening with our candidates to celebrate the opening of our HDCC office
- Essex Sheriff Kevin Coppinger – jails and opioids
- HDCC members went to the Democratic State Convention
