HDCC Meeting – 3/19/2025

HDCC Meeting on March 19th

HDCC Meeting

March 19, 2025

On Wednesday night, HDCC held its first meeting of 2025. We were excited to see over 60 interested and energized people gather at the Johnson Auditorium of the Haverhill Public Library. We were happy to see our “regulars” but were even more excited about the many new faces in attendance.

The meeting was very productive and informative.  It is clear that Haverhill Democrats are ready for action!

One of the discussion topics was the formation of three action committees to help focus our efforts in the face of the Trump-Musk team’s efforts to disassemble our government and take away our Constitutional rights. Because of the divergent opinions about the committees, we formed one in the allotted meeting time.

The Civic Action/Outreach Committee will plan and promote events to fight the injustices of the current Administration, grow HDCC, and make our voices heard. HDCC Vice-President Joe LeBlanc will chair the committee. He plans to hold a Zoom meeting soon. If you want to be included on the meeting invite list, please email Joe at  homer2140@mac.com.
