Combating the opioid epidemic has been a top priority of Maura’s since before she was elected attorney general. Last week, she doubled down on that fight by announcing an unprecedented $700,000 in grants to 41 organizations across this state to provide evidence-based substance use prevention education for young people. It’s an amazing program filling a huge unmet need in our state.
